Go Goa Gone
The trailer of Saif Ali Khan's 'zom-com' Go Goa Gone went viral within days of its release. We bring you some stills from the movie. Take a look.

Three friends are caught in an island full of zombies. The story revolves around their hilarious attempts at an escape.

The trailers of Go Goa Gone promised us that the movie would make fun of the supernatural creatures. Continue reading to know critics' views.
Saif Ali Khan recently claimed that his movie carries a strong message against drug abuse. And a rave party sets the ball rolling for this one. Hardik [Kunal Khemu] and Luv [Vir Das] bundle along to Goa with their best buddy, Bunny [Anand Tiwari], on his office trip. The friends wake up surrounded by zombies. What follows is a tough yet hilarious ride during their attempts to escape from the island. Critics feel that humour is delivered in a blood-filled, gory package.

While the dialogue and slapstick seems too stretched at times, the actors succeed in pulling off the comedy efficiently.  , "Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari all look tailor-made for their characters. They slip into the roles with ease and perform this trio of frustrated-in-life young men well. The lines are sassy and smart up to a point, and then start sounding forced."
"Go Goa Gone is full of surprises: it is as if Delhi Belly on acid has strayed into Zombieland."

But is it a zombie film? Saibal Chatterjee says, "The zombies are, well, zombies. They multiply like maggots and after a point cease to terrorise. The film relies more on verbal exchanges than shock effects to carry itself forward."

Critics, nonetheless, feel that if you are ready to bear with gory scenes, Go Goa Gone can be a good experience. Ananya Bhattacharya writes, "Go Goa Gone makes for an entertaining watch – however, only if you are willing to tolerate the very graphic scenes where zombies tear human flesh apart and so on."
" (It) is a spoof of something that needs to be explained first. Does that mean the filmmakers might be getting ahead of themselves? Maybe. But is the film sufficiently funny for a comedy, even if set among zombies? Yes. The performances are breezy, the comic timing is brilliant, the lines are first-rate. So it’s all good then."

"Go Goa Gone is positively different from anything you seen before. And for the young and restless(tattooed, ring-pierced, rave-party enthusiasts) or even those who like whacked-out fun, it's a great ride."
Apart from the fun and comedy most of the critics found in Go Goa Gone, there is one more thing you can be hooked to.  "There's also a neat little twist at the end. So don't rush out of the theatres."
